ABOUT

MARION LEPRETRE

Marion is a French photographer who loves capturing feelings, colors and authenticity. She loves travelling and documenting what she sees, what she experiences, who she meets.

Deeply affected by social inequalities, she wants to offer a voice to people who are discriminated and underrepresented. Her focus is primarily on women; she seeks to explore its identity, its place in the world, its complexity, its struggles and its strengths.

She uses mainly portrait to tell stories and explore the diversity of our world. She loves weird details, crazy outfits, uncommon things. She’s chasing warm lights and shadows, which allow her to illustrate the complexity but above all the beauty of links that unite human beings.

Encounter stories

IN THEIR EYES

An online audio exhibition

Encounters shape our lives. They construct and deconstruct our thoughts, our ideas, our dreams. They are sometimes brief and don’t leave marks but most of the time, they are special and magical. They fall on us, impose themselves on us. Sometimes I like to think they choose us. To teach us new things, to show us the world in a sweeter light.

At the other end of the world or the other side of the street, I experienced these encounters, those which transformed my life, which made me want to love human beings and to tell stories. Their stories. And a little bit of mine.
